Ashley Vance

Ashley Vance is a Syracuse-based coloratura soprano, conductor, and music educator. She holds an M.M. in choral conducting from Syracuse University and a B.M. in vocal performance from Trevecca University.

She currently serves as an Interim director of choral programs at Colgate University, voice instructor at Syracuse University, and music director at Pebble Hill Presbyterian Church. She also maintains a private voice and piano studio.

As a soloist, Vance’s recent performances include premieres of Natalie Draper’s The Cloths of Heaven and Ivan Malcolm’s It’s So Annoying, Handel’s Messiah with Schola Cantorum, and a vocal apprenticeship with Berkshire Choral International in Tallinn, Estonia. She recently appeared with Kyra Stahr at the NY-ACDA summer conference for their presentation “Harmonic Leadership: Navigating the Shared Podium.”
