Ayaho Ido
Teaching Fellow in Japanese
Ayaho Ido earned her bachelor's degree in English, along with a minor in French and management information from Hokusei Gakuen University in Japan. During her undergraduate studies, Ido spent a year abroad and participated in teaching assistant activities at Lewis & Clark College, experiences that inspired her passion for language teaching. She also attended a summer teacher-training program focused on East Asian language pedagogy hosted by the ALLEX foundation. Ido’s academic interests include Japanese language education and cross-cultural communication. At Hamilton, she looks forward to further developing her teaching practice, fostering intellectual curiosity, and engaging in meaningful exchange with students and colleagues.
