Emily DiAngelo, a freelance oboist and music teacher, is a candidate for a doctor of musical arts degree at Manhattan School of Music. She regularly performs in Central New York and New York City, and has played with Symphoria, Rochester Chamber Orchestra, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the West Point Army Band and The Irish Tenors, among others.
Her teachers include Robert Botti, Paige Morgan, Dan Stolper, Pedro Diaz, Louis Rosenblatt, and Lloyd Shorter. In addition to teaching at Hamilton College, DiAngelo teaches oboe at Cornell University and has taught at Ithaca College and Syracuse University.
