Dongwon Shin is a versatile pianist and educator, active as a soloist and collaborative artist, with performances across the United States, Asia, and Europe. He has appeared at the Chautauqua Institution, Syracuse University, the Hochstein School, and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, among others. Shin’s recent engagements include the Washington Square Series, the Eastman Leadership Conference, the NCKP Piano Conference, and the Young Musicians Forum.

Shin has presented and lectured at the Music Teachers National Association National Conference and the College Music Society National Conference. His broader professional activities include guest masterclasses and adjudication with the Eastman Community Music School and the National Federation of Music Clubs, and co-host of the 2026 New York State Music Teachers Association Conference. He has received performance prizes from the International Asia Chopin Competition, the Millersville International Competition, and the MTNA Stecher-Horowitz Two Piano Competition.
