Emily K. Harrison is founder and producing artistic director of award-winning, Colorado-based, square product theatre, and she works as a collaborator with theatre companies and individuals across the nation. Harrison earned a Ph.D. in theatre and performance studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, an M.F.A. in performance from the Savannah College of Art & Design, and a bachelor's degree in theatre studies with an emphasis in acting and creative writing from Emerson College. 

She previously served as a visiting assistant professor of theatre at Sewanee: The University of the South, Whitman College, and Brunel University London (UK), and regularly taught as a lecturer at the University of Colorado Boulder and in the School of the Arts at Naropa University. Harrison is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC) and the Dramatists Guild of America (DGA).
