Hitomi Hamada earned her bachelor’s degree in Global Japanese Studies from Meiji University in Japan. She also attended a summer teacher-training program focused on East Asian language pedagogy hosted by the ALLEX foundation at Cornell University. Prior to coming to Hamilton, Hamada was a high school English teacher in Tokyo.
