Mike Hsu's research and teaching interests are macroeconomics, international trade, productivity, and economic growth. He received his doctorate in economics from the University of Houston in 2016. Hsu earned his master's degree in economics from the California State University, Fullerton, and his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Southern California. Hsu previously taught at the University of Houston.
