Prayagdeep Parija
Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Prayagdeep Parija received his B.Sc.(H) in mathematics and computing at Institute of Mathematics and Applications, and M.Sc. from the Chennai Mathematical Institute, in his native India. In August 2023, he will be awarded a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. His field of study is in geometric group theory. His Ph.D. project "Random Quotients of hyperbolic groups and Property (T)" involved the interplay of probability, algebra and geometry.
