Rebeca Castaneda received her Ph.D. in political science at Claremont Graduate University. She holds an M.A. in politics from Claremont Graduate University and a B.A. in English from California State University, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on rhetoric and statesmanship, classical political thought, executive power, and American political thought. Castaneda has  taught courses in American politics and political theory at California State University, San Bernardino, California State University, Los Angeles, and Stockton University. She is a fellow at the Jack Miller Center.
