Registration Required! Come learn essential self-defense principles and techniques in a positive training atmosphere! Attendees should wear comfortable clothing they can move in. Beginners are welcome and this class is open to practitioners of all level. The class is non-competitive in nature. Intro to Swing Dance: If you love jazz and want to learn how to dance while trying a fresh take on exercise, this is the class for you! We will focus on the basic steps for Lindy hop, Charleston, Balboa, East coast swing and Solo jazz through the semester. Join us to learn the basic punching, kicking, footwork, and body movement techniques of kickboxing while boosting your fitness! Participants will engage in station drills, shadowboxing, calisthenics, striking of a bag or pads, and partner work to build strength, coordination, and confidence. This is a non-contact class; no sparring (striking of others) is permitted or included. Participants are encouraged to bring their own boxing gloves (10 ounce minimum). Spinal Unwind Yoga is a restorative class designed to help you release tension and connect with your breath. This session emphasizes gentle spinal movement, mindful breathwork, and guided meditation to encourage relaxation and stress relief. Postures are approached slowly and intentionally, allowing space to unwind both physically and mentally while improving mobility and body awareness. This class is appropriate for all ability levels.
