Cheng Li, professor of government and Woodrow Wilson fellow, was quoted in this article about China's Vice Premier Wen Jiabao. Jiabao has been named successor to Premier Zhu Rongji.

Cheng Li, professor of government and Woodrow Wilson fellow, has recently been appointed to four national and international committees. Assistant Professor of Economics Ann Owen and Professor of Economics Elizabeth Jensen presented, "Learning About Learning: Students' Course Selections," at the American Economic Association annual meeting in Washington, D.C. Owen was also a discussant in a session on economics education.

Professor Emeritus Phil Pearle spent the month of February at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, doing research in the Foundations of Quantum Theory. Pearle gave the lecture, "Wavefunction Collapse Models: Putting Reality Into Quantum Theory," as part of the High Energy Physics Seminar.
