  • The Continentals host the Brewers from Vassar College tonight at 8 p.m. in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. The Buff and Blue is riding a 5-game winning streak into tonight's game.

  • Hamilton alumnus Robert Moses '56, founder of the Algebra Project, a national program that teaches math literacy to rural and inner-city students, has written a book titled, "Radical Equations: Math, Literacy and Civil Rights"(Beacon Press). An article featuring Moses appears in USA Today (2/8).

  • Celine Geiger, a freshman at Hamilton, wrote an essay for The New York Times "Soapbox," about her experiences last year as she waited to hear from college admissions offices.

  • The men's basketball team defeated Middlebury College, 70-68 Tuesday at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. Kris Fudge broke a 66-66 tie on a bucket, despite being fouled, with 24 seconds remaining in regulation. He completed the three-point play giving Hamilton a 68-66 lead.

  • Celebrate Diversity with an African drum and dance demonstration. Friday, Feb. 16, 12 noon, Fillius Events Barn. Featuring WOFA! Percussion and Drums from Guinea, West Africa. Co-sponsored by BLSU.

  • Students and faculty will read The Vagina Monologues on Valentine's Day, as part of the nationwide V-Day College Initiative. This year Hamilton is one of 265 colleges and universities participating. The reading will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fillius Events Barn.

  • CAB is proud to present The Second City on Friday, Feb. 9 at 8 p.m. in the Beinecke Student Village Annex. This legendary comedy troupe will perform some of the best sketches, songs and improvisations from Second City's 40 year history.
