New Director of Opportunity Programs Aaron Ray credits his grandmother, Vena Ray, as the inspiration for everything he does.

Assistant Professor of History MacKenzie Cooley has received one of the most prestigious fellowships in the field of Renaissance studies, a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard University’s Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, I Tatti, for the 2021-22 academic year.

Hamilton has announced plans for an in-person commencement ceremony for members of the Class of 2021 on Saturday, May 22, at 10 a.m., in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. Bachelor’s degrees will be awarded to 484 graduates. Due to current New York State restrictions on public gatherings, attendance will be limited to the graduates and those participating in the ceremony.

Biology major Kaela Makins ’21 will join a doctoral program at City of Hope National Medical Center after graduation. She talks here about her interest in the medical field, and Hamilton faculty who influenced her.
