The 10th Annual AIDS Hike for Life will take place on Sunday, April 27, on the Hamilton College campus. The Hike for Life is sponsored by the Class of 2008 and AIDS Community Resources. On-site registration will take place from 10-11 a.m. and the AIDS Hike begins at 11 a.m.
Those interested can participate as individuals or as teams, raising funds that help support AIDS Community Resources' Adolescent Prevention Programs and Client Support Services. All funds raised stay within the Mohawk Valley. Individuals and teams that raise the most amount of sponsorship money will receive awards following the event. This year there is also a new 5K run that will be held in conjunction with the Hike for Life. Top male and female finishers will also receive awards.
The AIDS Hike for Life encourages all those interested to participate. There is still time to sign up at www.AIDSwalkCNY.com, or stop by the table in Beinecke from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every day this week.
