The team calls themselves Kate^3, and they will be re-joining the ranks of Collegiate Crew this weekend at the Head of the Charles. After graduating from Hamilton College in 2007 and 2008, five Hamilton alumnae realized what an important role varsity athletics had played during their Hamilton careers, and their crew career did not end upon graduation. Making the trip to Boston to participate in this weekend’s Head of the Charles, Kate Brandli ’07, Kate Pallin '07, Katie Goodwin ’08, Annie Bowler ’08 and Bridget Moore '08 will be participating in the Women's Club 4 at 11:58 a.m. Current student athletics will compete in three other races during the regatta. On Saturday, October 18, two teams of women’s collegiate four will compete at 3:25 p.m. and 3:37 p.m. On Sunday, October 19, the men’s team will compete in the Collegiate 8 competition at 12:46 p.m. The Boston Alumni Association will be gathering at the Head of the Charles Reunion Village in Tent 11 on Saturday and Sunday, and all Hamilton alumni, parents and friends are invited to gather to cheer on the current and former Continentals.
