Generations of alumni are dedicated to continuing Hamilton's tradition of excellence by contributing to the Alumni Fund. Please join them and make your gift to your alma mater today

Hamilton College was founded in 1812 through the efforts of individuals who recognized the value of higher education on the American frontier. The founders and their neighbors dedicated their time, invested their passion and staked their own fortunes to ensure the success of the College. In giving to Hamilton, you continue a tradition of philanthropy that has made Hamilton one of the very finest liberal arts colleges in the nation.

A group of nine trustees - Steve Anthony '59, Amy Owens Goodfriend '82, Kevin Kennedy '70, A.G. Lafley '69, Stuart Scott '61, P'91,'06, David Solomon '84, Charlie Svenson '61, P'00, Jack Withiam '71 and Nina Carroll P'90 - have challenged the Hamilton College Annual Fund: bring in 2,200 new cash donations in the last two months of the fiscal year, and they will give the fund $400,000 in additional contributions.

The Annual Fund needs to secure 600 gifts between now and June 15 to trigger the third installment of trustee contributions totaling $125,000. The last segment of the Challenge offers the last bonus of $150,000 when 800 new gifts and new pledge payments are made.

Giving is a very personal thing, and at Hamilton, alumni have said they give for a core set of reasons. They give to support curious, motivated students and the faculty who teach them. Alumni give to ensure that Hamilton's doors are always open to the most deserving young people, regardless of their economic circumstances. Alumni give to ensure a rich variety of experiences are available to Hamilton students outside of the classroom. Together we transform the lives of students on College Hill. And our graduates leave Hamilton ready to change the world, in no small part because of your generosity. It's who we are.
