Frank Anechiarico, Maynard-Knox Professor of Government and Law, chaired a panel at a conference held in Chicago, April 16-18, on "The Next Generation of Corruption Control: Problems and Prospects."
This panel topic coincides with Anechiarico's earlier work on corruption control. In 1996, he published The Pursuit of Absolute Integrity: How Corruption Control Makes Government Ineffective with James B. Jacobs of NYU Law School, a book that was critical of New York's attempts at corruption control. Anechiarico has also published on this topic in journals such as Public Administration Review, Administration and Society, The Urban Affairs Quarterly, Criminal Justice Ethics and Philosophy and Public Policy.
