Some of the statistics behind the 2007-08 Annual Fund help tell the story of the collective value created by broad based generosity that typifies the members of the Hamilton community. More than 1,400 parents contributed over $550,000 to the unrestricted Parents' Fund. Leadership donors, those who contribute a $1,000 or more, grew in number by nearly 8% in spite of the current difficult economic climate. Ten percent more GOLD donors from the classes of 1998 – 2007 contributed this year than last year. Alumni in reunion years gave well over a million unrestricted dollars and expanded their ranks by 148 individuals vis a vis 2006-07. More than half of all donors increased their gift amount and online donations grew by an amazing 63 percent.
Alumni, parents, and friends who give to Hamilton know that their contributions will be stewarded and spent with care, and that their gifts will help not only Hamilton but the nation and the world—by educating future leaders, creating new knowledge that influences the directions of disciplines, and setting new standards in higher education.
