Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies Aaron Strong recently co-authored an article in Conservation Letters on the process of conserving a large area of the ocean surrounding Antarctica. "Reaching consensus for conserving the global commons: The case of the Ross Sea, Antarctica" was published Sept. 20.
"Tracing the process of finding consensus on a convoluted scientific geopolitical issue, the insights from this study provide a road map to larger efforts and global multilateral collective actions on climate change," said Strong.
Conservation Letters is a journal of the Society for Conservation Biology.
