Christine Froehlich

The 2019-20 Arboretum Saturday Speaker Series continues with garden writer and horticulture expert Christine Froehlich. She will present a lecture titled “Gardening With What You Have” on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 10 a.m., in the Kennedy Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public.

After years of honing her skills at the New York Botanical Garden, Froehlich established her own garden design and maintenance company, which she operated for 25 years in Connecticut. She has published articles in Fine Gardening, American Garden, The Upstate Gardeners Journal, and various other publications.

Froehlich’s discussion will focus on her own experience in horticulture over the years and how others can delve into the world of gardening themselves.
