An exhibition of paintings by Professor of Art Bruce Muirhead opens Friday, Aug. 2, at the Arkell Museum in Canajoharie, New York, and will be on view through Oct. 16. Museum hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. The museum, located at 2 Erie Boulevard in Canajoharie, is closed on Mondays.
The Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library’s Regional Art Galleries are presenting three solo shows (one of which is Muirhead's) of artists whose work was selected for The Art of New York: Annual Juried Art Show in 2018. They are Linda Armstrong, who won the Juror’s Choice award; Jack Graber; and Bruce Muirhead, who won the Best in Show award.
