Christopher H. Foreman, Jr., chair of the social policy program at the University of Maryland and author of The Promise and Peril of Environmental Justice, will speak on the relationship between race and environmental policy,  onThursday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m.  The program, sponsored by the Arthur Levitt Public Affairs Center, will be held in the Red Pit in the Kirner-Johnson Building on campus.

The focus of the Arthur Levitt Public Affairs Center 2003/2004 speaker series is on issues related to the environment and public policy and social responsibility concerns.  Through this speaker series, the Arthur Levitt Public Affairs Center strives to bring the experiences of policy analysts, policy makers, and policy administrators to the Hamilton College campus for students as well as the community.  All programs in this speaker series are free and open to the public.
