The Hamilton College baseball team and head coach Tim Byrnes will hold a series of weekly instructional workshops for players ages 13 to 18 beginning on Sunday, Jan. 8.
The hitting and throwing sessions will last from 9 to 11 a.m. in Margaret Bundy Scott Field House each Sunday through Feb. 12. The other dates for the workshops are Jan. 15, 22, 29 and Feb. 5. The cost is $25 per session, or $100 for all six. Groups of five players or more will be charged $20 per player for each session. All payments will be collected at the workshop.
Hitting and throwing/pitching instruction will be provided by Byrnes' staff and current Hamilton players. There will be several different stations with specialized drills and instruction at each.
Pre-registration is reccommended by sending an e-mail to tbyrnes@hamilton.edu, or by calling the baseball office at (315) 859-4928. Please provide the player's name, address, age, school and session desired. Registration is available at the door, but space at each session may be limited.
