Marianne Janack

Book XI, edited by Marianne Janack, the John Stewart Kennedy Professor of Philosophy, has published its sixth issue. This issue includes personal essays about mothers, coffee, sex, angels, protest, baseball cards, the pandemic, faith, and disappointing those we love. The journal is published with funding to support public philosophy provided by the Endeavor Foundation and the Levitt Center for Public Affairs. The issue can be accessed online for free.

The staff, which helps put the journal out several times a year, includes Honor Allen ’21, Henry Curcio ’21, Carolyn Gevinski ’22, Eliza Jones ’22, Dorothy Poucher ’21, Kyra Richardson ’21, Liam Rogers ’21, and Corinne Russell ’20, and Kat Van Eddy, an MFA candidate at Rainier Writing Workshop.
