James Bradfield, the Elias W. Leavenworth Professor of Economics, and Professor of Music Michael "Doc" Woods participated in Glimmerglass University at the Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown on March 28. Proceeds from the one-day "Food For Thought" program benefited the Cooperstown Food Bank.
The event was organized by Bassett anesthesiologist Dr. Frank Harte, who invited faculty from Hamilton, Colgate University and Hartwick College. "This one-day university offers a great forum for continued learning while benefiting a good cause," he said.
Bradfield spoke on "Economic Collapse or Continued Growth with Moderate Turbulence," and Woods' topic was "Where Did the Music Go?"
