James Bradfield, the Elias W. Leavenworth Professor of Economics, appeared on a news segment on NBC affiliate WKTV on Tuesday, Sept. 30, in an interview on the current state of the economy. Bradfield said that he felt certain that the college's many economics graduates could look forward to bright futures in business despite current market turbulence. He pointed out that the United States has been through similar situations in 1987 and 1997. Bradfield said that there should be no reason to believe there won't be a rebound in the market as was true a decade and two decades ago.
