Hamilton College Performing Arts presents a modern dance performance featuring Brian Brooks Moving Company, presented by the Mohawk Valley Dance Partnership, on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts.
Innovative, risky and wildly imaginative, Brian Brooks Moving Company is a breath of fresh air in the dance world. A 2013 Guggenheim Fellowship awardee, choreographer Brian Brooks has established himself as one of the most interesting dance makers in New York. This performance is the culminating activity in a half-week residency that includes master classes and a performance for local elementary school students.
