Austin Briggs

Austin Briggs, the Hamilton B. Tompkins Professor of English Literature Emeritus, recently attended the North American James Joyce Conference at the University of Toronto. He presented “Molly’s Rere Premises: An Anal-isis” as a member of a panel on “Scatological Joyce,” which he organized and chaired.

In addition, Briggs co-organized and co-moderated two reading sessions on Ulysses.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
