Associate Professor of Religious Studies Abhishek S. Amar was recently invited to the Second International Conference on Recent Trends in Buddhist Research. The event was organized jointly by the Buddhist Digital Resource Center, USA and Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China.
Drawing on his Digital Humanities project on the Buddhist site of Bodhgaya in India, Amar presented a talk focused on the themes of preservation, access, and technology.
