Henry Platt Bristol Professor of International Affairs Alan Cafruny presented a paper titled “The Crisis of the Eurozone and the Return of the ‘German Question’” on Sept. 21 at the 8th Pan-European Conference on International Relations.
The conference was held in Poland at the University of Warsaw. This year’s theme was “One International Relations or Many? Multiple Worlds, Multiple Crises.” According to the conference website, participants were invited to speak about “the ways in which contemporary ‘real-world’ crises are frequently viewed as indicative of crises of the paradigms and frameworks promoted by others and not ourselves,” as well as about international relations in general.
