Alan Cafruny, the Henry Platt Bristol Professor of International Affairs, took part in the annual conference of the Council of Europeanists, Sciences Po, Paris, from July 7-11. Cafruny led a Ph.D. workshop sponsored by the European Political Integration and Global Politic Economy Network and presented a paper titled "Transatlantic Relations After the Global Financial Crisis: Atlanticism Fractured or Consolidated?"
He also served as a discussant at the Plenary Lecture on "Imagining Europe" sponsored by the European Integration Research Network.
