Caitlin McGilley ’08

Caitlin McGilley ’08 spoke with OZY.COM about her experiences leaving the Navy and climbing the corporate ladder. McGilley is vice president of Global Intelligence and Global Security Investigations at JPMorgan Chase.

OZY.COM partnered with JPMorgan Chase & Co. to tell McGilley’s story as part of its series, “Leadership Journey.” In her story and the audio interview, McGilley says that she believes “you’re either born with the call to serve or you’re not. I knew the only future for me upon graduating from Hamilton College was to become an officer in the Navy.” After five years of serving, McGilley left the Navy.

She details her troubles finding a job and eventual success as JPMorgan Chase’s vice president on the Global Intelligence Team under Global Security & Investigations. As vice president she evaluates worldwide threats and advises JPMorgan Chase employees about safety.
