Gregory Casey ’09 returned to campus on April 15 to participate in a seminar series sponsored jointly by the economics departments at Hamilton and Colgate University. He presented a talk titled “Instrumental Variables in the Long Run,” a joint project done with Marc Klemp of the University of Copenhagen.

After the seminar, he met with students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in economics.

Casey majored in economics and mathematics at Hamilton and is in his fourth year in the Brown University Ph.D. economics program.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
