Cassandra Harris-Lockwood K'74 took part in the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum (NAHOF) commemoration on October 25, 2008 at the STUAC theatre at Morrisville State College which consisted of a variety of abolitionist songs and dramatic pieces.  During the performance, Harris-Lockwood, recently a playwright in the recent production of the "Wizard of Was" at the Stanley Theatre in Utica, recalled her previous performance of Sojourner Truth.   Harris-Lockwood is currently the President of For The Good Inc., a nonprofit organization in Utica aimed at benefiting the Utica community through services directed at low-income residents such as the Study Buddy Club and the Mohawk Valley Contractors guild.  On the Hill, Harris-Lockwood was involved in the Black and Latin Students Union and the Theater department and remains active in the Hamilton community through the Study Buddy Club.
