Daniel Chambliss, the Eugene M. Tobin Distinguished Professor of Sociology, discussed How College Works at several colleges and secondary schools during past few months. Chambliss co-authored the book with his former student Christopher Takacs ’05.
Chamblis addressed audiences of students, parents, staff and administrators at New College of Florida and Franklin and Marshall College, as well as McCallie School, Baylor School and Girls Preparatory School in Chattanooga. He also presented to the student affairs staff of the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC).
