Associate Dean of Admission and Director of Diversity Recruitment Kaitlin Oliver was recently named to the Chicago Scholars College Partner Advisory Board (CPAB).
Founded in 1996, Chicago Scholars serves high school juniors who live and attend high school in Chicago and will be first-generation college students. They must be academically strong demonstrated leaders, intent on attending a four-year college, and can fully commit to a rigorous academic and leadership development program.
The CPAB includes higher education professionals and college representatives from around the country who share their experience in addressing challenges Chicago Scholars may face, such as barriers to educational opportunities, navigating college admissions, and more. The seven-year Chicago Scholars program begins with high school juniors and continues through their college graduation and finding their first job or entering graduate school.
