The X-Viper Hour radio show, hosted by Hamilton College sophomores Phillip Hoying and Victoria Jenkins, airs every Sunday at 5 p.m. and features an hour of recorded old-time radio shows. In addition to the recorded shows, each week a cast of students and faculty reproduces one show live in the studio. Previous live shows have included "Sorry, Wrong Number," "The Thin Man," and "Jane goes to the Psychiatrist" from the Easy Aces series.
The show presented a live reading of "Hamlet at Hamilton" on April 15, with a cast composed entirely of Hamilton faculty members, led by Dean of the Faculty Joe Urgo, who participated via cell phone from Chicago's' O'Hare Airport, where he was snowed in. "Hamlet at Hamilton" was an original script written by faculty members more than 50 years ago and commissioned for the 1954 senior party.
