 Nancy Sorkin Rabinowitz

Professor of Comparative Literature and Creative Writing Emerita Nancy Sorkin Rabinowitz recently participated in a panel discussion on “Classics & Prisons.” Hosted by Columbia University, the event included a discussion about her work as a member of HOPE, the Hamilton Oneida Prison Education program, in which she and other Hamilton faculty members volunteer to teach inmates of a nearby medium-security prison.

Other panel members were Marcus Folch and Isaac Scott of Columbia, and Emilio Capettini of the University of California, Santa Barbara. Rabinowitz and Capettini participated remotely.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
