Professor of Mathematics Sally Cockburn gave a talk titled ‘A Senior Seminar in Set Theory as a Springboard for Mathematical Philosophy’ on Jan. 6 at the Joint Mathematical Meetings held in Seattle.
The paper on which the talk was based will appear in an upcoming volume, Using the Philosophy of Mathematics in Teaching Collegiate Mathematics, published by the Mathematical Association of America.
