The College Democrats and the College Republicans will host a political debate on Wednesday, April 19, at 8 p.m. in the Hamilton College Chapel.

Members of the two clubs, flanked by one professor on each side, will debate pertinent political issues including the Iraq War, the National Security Agency surveillance program, immigration reform, energy policy, lobbying reform and others important to the 2006 midterm elections. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask the panelists questions.

Philip Klinkner, the James S. Sherman Associate Professor of Government and Associate Dean of Students, will assist the College Democrats and Visiting Instructor of Government Mack Mariani will assist the College Republicans. Paul Bleiberg '06 will moderate the debate.
