Hamilton College's Arthur Levitt Public Affairs Center and Oneida County Communities that Care are presenting a conference titled "Community Connections" on Thursday, April 24, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Hamilton College in the Annex.

This conference is a gathering of community agencies that have participated in an initiative over the past three years to maintain a conversation of collaboration, reporting on risk and resource assessments and renewing partnerships in an effort to move forward in community undertakings. A poster session produced by Hamilton students involved in community projects will follow the meeting at 5 p.m. The conference will end with a reception following the student presentation. 

Hamilton College, through the Levitt Center, has been engaged in community initiatives aimed at improving Oneida County.  These initiatives have been focused on transforming the county into a youth and family-friendly community working together for economic opportunities, cultural diversity, and universal access to health, recreational, and educational resources.   The mission of Oneida County Communities That Care is to be an alliance in the community suppporting families and neighborhoods.
