Seth Schermerhorn

An article titled “Comparison and the Academic Study of Indigenous Religious Traditions” by Associate Professor of Religious Studies Seth Schermerhorn was recently published in Method & Theory in the Study of Religion.

Schermerhorn examined two recent books focused on the practice of using comparison to gain knowledge and discussed developments regarding comparison in the academic study of indigenous religious traditions.

Method & Theory in the Study of Religion is the journal of the North American Association for the Study of Religion.
