Associate Professor of Economics Emily Conover, together with colleagues at Amherst, Colgate, Lafayette, Wesleyan and Vassar College, co-organized a conference for professors at liberal arts institutions.
The third LAC-DEV conference was hosted by Lafayette College on Sept. 11-12. Conover was part of a panel discussing teaching strategies in development economics. 12 papers were presented at the conference, including a paper by Conover and co-authors.
