Perrin Salewood ’21 and Pauline Santry ’21
After a pause of almost 13 months due to COVID-19, Hamilton student-athletes returned to competition in early April with some outstanding individual performances.

Rowing

Pauline Santry ’21 and Perrin Salewood ’21 were named Pocock Women’s All-America Athletes by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association after helping to lead Hamilton to a runner-up finish in the 2021 NCAA Division III Rowing Championship. Santry was named to the first team; Salewood is on the second team. The honor is the first for both rowers as only 18 athletes received 2021 Division III All-America honors.

Track & Field

Lucas Wright '21
Lucas Wright ’21

Lucas Wright ’21 earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-America honors for the 2021 NCAA Division III outdoor track and field season. Wright finished eighth in the 800-meter run final with a time of 1:54.28 at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Wright picked up his first All-America award in his third trip to the national meet.

Tennis

Sophie Aulicino '21
Sophie Aulicino ’21

Sophia Aulicino ’21 earned 2021 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III All-America honors for her singles play. She is the first all-American in Hamilton women’s or men’s tennis history. A student-athlete is named all-American if she finishes in the top 20 in the final Oracle ITA national rankings; Aulicino ended up at No. 19. She competed in the singles draw of the individual portion at the 2021 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships becoming the first Hamilton tennis player to compete in the event.

Lacrosse

Courtney Pierre '21

Courtney Pierre ’21

Midfielder Courtney Pierre ’21 was selected for the 2021 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III All-America Team. Pierre was one of 19 athletes voted to the first team. The All-America award is the first of her Hamilton career and the 27th in team history. Pierre is the Continentals' first first-team All-American since 2017. She led the team with 15 goals and 17 points and tied for the team lead with 12 ground balls in five games.

Max Scheidl '21
Max Scheidl ’21

Goalie Max Scheidl ’21 was selected for the 2021 Division III Dynamic All-America Team by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. Scheidl is one of 16 goalies on the honorable mention list. He’s the first Hamilton men’s lacrosse All-American since Dylan Lahey ’15 was honorable mention on defense in 2015. Scheidl started all four games in goal and played all but two minutes. He posted a .591 save percentage and averaged 19.5 stops per contest.

Golf

Billy Geach '21
Billy Geach ’23

Billy Geach ’23 was selected for the 2021 Division III PING All-America Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Geach is one of 21 male golfers named honorable mention All-Americans; the All-America honor is his first. Geach led the Continentals with an 18-hole stroke average of 74.80 in five rounds this spring.
