Edward North Chair of Classics and Professor of Africana Studies Shelley Haley was recently invited by the Durham University (UK) Classics Society to present a virtual lecture. Nearly 100 guests joined her via Zoom for “What is a Critical Race Feminist Like Me Doing in a Field Like This?!” The lecture was also recorded and uploaded to the society’s YouTube channel.
In addition, Haley’s work was recently referenced in a BBC podcast titled “Othering through the centuries: Translation to acronyms.”
