The Hamilton College men’s and women’s cross country programs received 2011 Division III all-academic team honors from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
To be considered for the USTFCCCA all-academic team award, a team must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA regional championship meet, and had a minimum 3.10 team cumulative grade point average during the fall semester. The Hamilton women recorded a grade point average of 3.28, and the men’s team posted a GPA of 3.18.
A record 125 Division III men’s programs and 167 Division III women's programs received all-academic honors this year. For men’s cross country, the MIAC and NESCAC led all conferences with nine members earning All-Academic honors and was followed by the SCAC which had eight listed. For the women the MIAC led all conferences with 11 members earning All-Academic honors and was followed by the WIAC and NESCAC which had nine listed.
