Gilmour – the 2019 NESCAC Player of the Year – was the leading scorer on a team that finished with a 25-5 record and advanced to the sectional semifinals (third round) of the NCAA championship for the second year in a row. The Continentals tied for first place in the conference standings and played in the NESCAC championship final for the first time.

The 6-foot, 4-inch guard averaged 19.0 points and 5.8 rebounds as he started all 30 games last season. He tied for the team lead with 92 assists and added 37 steals and 20 blocked shots. He shot 47.4 percent from the field, including 33.9 percent from 3-point range, and made 87.5 percent of his shots at the free-throw line. He scored in double figures in all but three games, eclipsed the 20-point mark 14 times and went over 30 points twice. He’s already 12th on the team's all-time scoring list with 1,406 career points.

Hamilton, which received votes in the 2019-20 D3hoops.com preseason Top 25 poll, kicked off the season at Drew University’s Rose City Classic in Madison, N.J., on Saturday, Nov. 16.
