Erica De Bruin

Assistant Professor of Government Erica De Bruin gave invited talks this spring on the dynamics of military coups d'etat at the Rieff Center for Human Rights and Conflict Resolution at Christopher Newport University and at Colgate University.

De Bruin presented her work titled "Will There Be Blood? Explaining When Coups d'etat Turn Violent." Coverage of the Colgate talk can be found on the Maroon-News site.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
