At the time of selection, the recipient must be an active member of Hamilton's faculty, administration, staff, or maintenance and operations.

Distinguished Service Award honorees to date include former President Gene Tobin (2003), Professor of Theatre Carole Bellini-Sharp (2004) and Director of Audiovisual Classroom Services Tim Hicks (2005).

In October, the Alumni Council will act on the nomination put forward by the Committee. The formal award presentation will take place in the spring. Please submit nominations by September, 12, 2005, to Dean Abelon, Office of Communications and Development, Clinton, NY 13323 or dablelon@hamilton.edu.

All suggestions should include the candidate's name, position at the College, justification for the recommendation, and the name and contact information of the person making the nomination.
