Hamilton a capella group Duelly Noted recently took second place in an a capella competition fundraiser for Herkimer High School’s Drama Department. The co-ed group that was founded in 2008 also won the award for best stage presence.
Duelly Noted performed with groups from various other colleges (Union College Dutch Pipers, University of Albany Pitch Please, University of Albany Earthtones and Syracuse University Otto Tunes, who won first).
The group performed three songs initially (Ugly Heart by G.R.L., Why Do Fools Fall in Love by Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, and A Flying Medley based on Come Fly With Me by Frank Sinatra) before moving onto the finals where they performed Born This Way by Lady Gaga.
